The Center is a cornerstone of LGBTQ+ Culture in New York City. It is where, on any given day, you can catch a premiere on our 22-foot screen, hear dynamic musical talent, listen as prominent authors and public figures discuss their work, or attend a theatrical presentation.
The Center continues to be a unique forum for LGBTQ+ cultural expression, and as a community of LGBTQ+ people, we have entered a time where culturally and socially specific arts programming is taking on a renewed sense of relevancy and purpose.

Art is a crucial part of the story of the LGBTQ+ community in New York City. The LGBTQ+ community has been able to tell our stories and fight for our rights through our art, leveraging art as a platform for individual voices and self-expression. LGBTQ+ artists are a significant force in the city's cultural landscape.
The Center hosts a variety of artisan markets, events, block parties that are open to LGBTQ+ vendors and small business owners.
