Center Works helps LGBTQ+ young adults (ages 18 -30) achieve professional goals. Confidently enter the job market, advance your career, and become financially stable by working with Center staff to transition from youth into a working professional.

Center Works offers a wide variety of supports to help LGBTQ+ adults build essential life skills and find sustainable, stable employment, including:

Career counseling

Job-seeking support

Financial literacy

Paid internships

Professional development

Networking opportunities

Informal networking

Social and co-working space

Plus other services

Connection to other services at The Center and beyond, such as housing support, case management, mental health counseling, and immigration support

GET IT Fellowship

Throughout the GET IT fellowship, Fellows will meet with their assigned Center Works career counselor every two weeks for support related to their fellowship and larger career goals post-fellowship. These meetings will be required for the first half of the fellowship and on an as-needed basis for the second half.

In its first year, the GET IT fellowship placed two Fellows at Milk Makeup and two at JPMorgan Chase.
