We, the Collective Film Screening

“We, the Collective” is a short-form documentary that explores the contemporary Black and brown LGBTQ+ nightlife ecosystem in New York City as a means of social and economic mobility for patrons, nightlife organizers, and activists.

As the film highlights specific individuals who have found themselves at the intersection of the nightlife scene and the reclaiming of space, “We, the Collective” sparks a much-needed conversation about the layered nature of affirmation, access, and liberation for the most vulnerable among us."
