The 116th Initiative X Magic Dyke: 2nd Annual Show!

July 12 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

As described by the Slaughterhouse Society: “A queer visual buffet of beefcakes, bromance, and boytoys! The delicious smorgasbord of grinding and gratuitous cheeseball masculinity!”

Inspired by the masculine stripping and dance group led by "queer butches, studs, mascs and genderfuckers" in Berlin, the 116th Initiative is organizing an 18+ NYC Magic Dyke-inspired performance to help raise money for mutual aid on July 12th, from 7-9pm at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center at 208 W 13th St, New York, NY 10011.

The 116th Initiative is a mutual aid collective led by first-generation, low-income, BIPOC & queer students from Barnard College that utilizes creative community organizing strategies to host events to help raise money for our mutual aid fund. The mutual aid fund is utilized by students facing financial hardship on campus who are otherwise unacknowledged or underserved by the university.

Help us celebrate our 3 year anniversary! Since our founding, we've redistributed over $140k to students and broader mutual aid efforts in NYC.

The 116th Initiative IS NON-AFFILIATED with Barnard College and Columbia University and does not receive or solicit any institutional assistance, funds, or organizational guidance.

This year, a portion of our proceeds will also be donated to Palestine.

Please remember to bring SPARE CASH to tip your performers and buy tickets to our lap dance raffle performed by ILOV GRATE.

MASKING IS MANDATORY.

WE WILL BE DISTRIBUTING & ENFORCING MASKS AT THE EVENT.

ALL FUNDS WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN OUR MUTUAL AID FUND, PALESTINIAN EVACUATION FUNDS AND COMPENSATING PERFORMERS FOR THEIR TIME & TALENT.
