Music in Motion explores the creative relationship between music and film, and how artists use visual storytelling to expand the worlds behind their sound. For its inaugural edition, Queer Voices NYC spotlights singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist serpentwithfeet, presenting a selection of music videos from across his body of work. Through screening and conversation, we’ll explore his visual language, creative process, and the evolving role of music videos as a form of cinematic expression.
