Dyke Artists in Conversation: Dyke+ ArtHaus Visits the Bureau (in person & live-streaming)

June 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Artists in the current Dyke+ ArtHaus Visits the Bureau exhibition will discuss what participating in this show means to them, why it matters to the larger Dyke-identified artist community, and how it continues the lineage of lesbian artist exhibitions including A Lesbian Show (1978, NYC), Great American Lesbian Art Show (1980, Los Angeles), and Rebel Dykes Art and Archive Show (2021, London).

We will discuss considerations in identifying as a Dyke artist, and the importance of centering artists over 40 years old.
