Adults Leveling Up with a Mission
Leaving behind adolescence can be tough, and the Center A.L.U.M group is designed to help young people fully transition to the sweet independence of adulthood. Members have the chance to connect with queer peers in the community, learn how to confidently bring our authentic identities into the workplace, discuss best practices when navigating personal relationships, establish boundary setting, improve time management, and uncover how our mental health needs affect our ability to jumpstart our careers. Center A.L.U.M members have the opportunity to develop leadership skills by championing group topics, lead group facilitation, and collaborate with Center Works staff about creative ideas to steer group direction.
