Women’s Event is The Center’s premier event celebrating the contributions of LGBTQ+ women. The gala and after party help us raise the critical funds necessary to sustain our life-saving programs and services and to ensure our safe and affirming space is open and accessible to LGBTQ+ New Yorkers who need it.
Join us and celebrate our new CEO, Dr. Carla Smith’s, first time at this unique celebration of LGBTQ+ Women and impact.
This year’s Honoree will be Keia Clarke, CEO of the New York Liberty. Clarke is in her 14th season with the Liberty, where she has worked tirelessly to create welcoming spaces for athletes and fans alike. As one of the few Black women executives in the WNBA, she has and continues to be an ally and champion of the LGBTQ+ community.
