The House of Womxn’s all-white board has an inclusivity issue, one they’ll have to address in order to attend an elite international women’s conference. When a junior member is tasked with satisfying the “diversity checklist,” she invites a group of queer and BIPOC women to create a panel for the forum.
Forced into cohabitation, the guests quickly clash on their views of tokenism, colorism, and intersectionality. Will their commonalities unite them to address a bigger threat? With bitingly subversive humor, writer and director Merle Grimme’s film provides a candid critique on the differences between being performative and being genuinely impactful.
