LGBT Bar NY Weekly Walk-In Legal Clinic

The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York is pleased to provide a pro bono legal clinic devoted to serving the LGBTQ community of NYC. Staffed by volunteer attorneys and advocates, the clinic offers compassionate and confidential guidance on a range of issues—including but not limited to discrimination, immigration, name and gender marker changes, housing, and employment concerns, family law matters, and survivors’ rights. Arrive between 5:45 and 6:15 for intake.

We are excited to offer specialized immigration law clinics on the second Tuesday of each month. During these immigration clinics, visitors will have the opportunity to consult with lawyers who specialize in immigration law. 

We are proud to offer a virtual clinic option for individuals who are unable to attend the in-person Tuesday clinic. The virtual clinic operates at the same time as the in-person clinic – Tuesdays between 6pm and 8pm. Spots for the virtual clinic are extremely limited and by appointment only. To schedule a virtual appointment with a clinic attorney volunteer please send an email to [email protected].
