Center Works Presents: QTGNC Spring To Work

Center Works, The Center’s career services program dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ young adults obtain the skills, resources, and networks necessary to improve their personal economies, is throwing a Spring To Work Event for QTGNC (queer, trans, and gender nonconforming) job seekers!
There will be free professional clothing, shoes, and accessories provided by Out My Closet; soul food by Kylexus Kitchen; a name change clinic to start legal name change processes; and free professional headshots. The Center’s HIV/AIDS and case management teams will also give out resources, HIV test kits, referrals, and MetroCards.

It was created to address the needs LGBTQ+ young adults face around entering the workforce, and as a next step for folks graduating from The Center’s youth program.
