Fundraiser & Silent Auction
We are thrilled to partner with Queer Art Fest Inc. for their first annual Fundraiser & Silent Auction! Given that many queer creatives experience cultural bias that can make it difficult to participate in mainstream art events, Queer Art Fest Inc. exists to create accessible points of entry into the art world. At a time of social media shadowbans, mounting barriers to the mainstream art market, and so few physical spaces to commune and exhibit work, Queer Art Fest Inc. and The Center recognizes that artists are intrinsic to queer futurity and must be centered in their fullest expressions. Activations at this event will include flash portraits by Doable Guys and tarot readings by Ben Watts. Entertainment by Robin Rose Quartz and music by mSamurai.
