Portrait Drawing of Marsha P. Johnson Bust with Jesse Pallotta
QT Art Camp is excited to announce its summer series of art workshops for queer and trans youth taking place in New York. These workshops are free and welcome to youth ages 13-19. Join to work with NYC-based artists to learn new skills, discuss art with your peers and mentors, and leave with a finished art piece.
In this workshop students will learn the fundamentals of portrait drawing from a cast of the trans historical figure Marsha P. Johnson. Students will use paper, charcoal, and pencils to create a realistic portrait drawing while learning drawing fundamentals including light effect, perspective, and line quality.
