The primary focus of Recovering from Religion is to provide practical and personal support to individuals as they question and possibly choose to let go of their religious beliefs. This is a safe space. We value the experience and contribution of people from all cultures, sexualities, genders, spiritualities, ages, abilities and backgrounds. We do not provide advice or counsel, but rather peer support. Our job is not to deconvert, but rather to help people heal through their journey. This transitional period is an ongoing process that can result in a range of emotions as well as a ripple effect of consequences throughout an individual’s life.
