Major!: A Free Community Documentary Screening

October 25 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Major!: A Free Community Documentary Screening

Join us for a free community screening of the award-winning documentary MAJOR!, celebrating the life, legacy, and revolutionary spirit of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy — a veteran of the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion, a formerly incarcerated Black Transcestor, and a lifelong activist for transgender rights and prison abolition.

In honor of Miss Major’s birthday and in celebration of her life, we invite community members, friends, and allies to gather in reflection and gratitude for her decades of care, mentorship, and advocacy for trans women of color.

This evening will center Miss Major’s enduring message: that caring for one another is itself a radical act of resistance.

Wear Black, Red or White in solidarity with her homegoing service taking place in Little Rock, Arkansas
