Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (ASCA) is a New-York based support group devoted to helping adult victims of child abuse transition from survivors to thrivers. (And if room, add "ASCA is a donation-based, peer led, inclusive and diverse group that accepts new members on a case-by-case basis. ASCA meetings hold strict guidelines in order to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the group and its members. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, gender expression, religion (creed), age, national origin (ancestry), marital status, disability, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of our activities or operations. We highly recommend that new attendees read the meeting materials prior to attending group meetings. A firm understanding of our guidelines and procedures is critically important in keeping our meetings safe and helpful to those who attend. We depend on ASCA participants’ commitment to working cooperatively and empathetically with each other.
