Abstracting the Past: Collage in the LGBT Center Archive!

August 10 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Join the LGBT Community Center National History Archive for an afternoon of collage using deaccessioned materials including archival magazines and newspapers. Participants will be free to collage as they wish, or join Archives Intern Tess for an abstract mask making activity. The button maker will also be onsite to create collaged designs. No supplies needed, just bring your creativity!

The Pat Parker and Vito Russo Library will stay open until 5:30pm so participants can check out books and DVDs. Attendees are encouraged to come early and browse in advance; the library is open every Thursday from 6pm-8pm and Sunday from 12pm-4pm.
