Workforce1 Monthly Recruitment Event

The Center proudly partners with Workforce 1 to offer monthly recruitment events for community members seeking employment in a variety of fields. To be considered, please arrive with at least five copies of your resume, your photo I.D. (must be 18 years or older) and dressed in professional attire.
TGNC Legal Clinic

A free legal clinic for trans and gender nonconforming community members who are seeking assistance with legal name and gender marker changes, family matters, immigration relief eligibility, discrimination, advanced directives, benefits and more.
Women of Color Game Night

Women of color and their friends, ages 40 and over, start the month out right by practicing networking skills at this fun, monthly gathering. Make connections and expand your network—you never know what opportunities will arise!
Open Computer Lab

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Stop by The Center Services Computer Lab during open hours and our PCs, Macs and printing will be available to you, all for free. Career coaches will also be on hand to work with you one-on-one to enhance your career portfolio, including resumes, cover letters, online profiles, mock interview prep and LinkedIn information. Know Your Rights: SSI & SSDI Workshop

A workshop where experts will provide information about public benefits programs Social Security Insurance (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance, including; what the two programs are, the differences between them, who qualifies for each, and how to access benefits.
Empowering Women in the Workplace

A monthly drop-in group for female-identified, non-binary and GNC LGBTQ people to gain support and share resources on topics related to employment and career advancement.
Immigrant Game Night
