Scope and Content
The collection contains numerous newspaper articles, flyers, press releases, and correspondence from and to Jay Blotcher when he was Media Coordinator of ACT-UP/New York from May 1989 to July 1992 and Media Coordinator of Queer Nation/New York from March 1990 to January 1991.
History or Bio
Jay Blotcher was the Media Coordinator for ACT UP/New York from May 1989 to February 1990, as well as at the International Conference on AIDS in Amsterdam in July 1992. He served as a founding member and Media Coordinator of Queer Nation/New York from March 1990 to January 1991. Blotcher also wrote news releases, newspaper articles and a number of magazine articles in gay publications and mainstream publications.
