Scope and Content
The Donald Marshburn Collection consists of gay commercial advertising & club/party invitations from the early 1970s to 2001. Also included are gay male erotica catalogs dating from the 1970s to 1992. This collection is for historical reference to gay clubs, the evolution of the club scene and the venues in which these events took place. Club flyers are alphabetized into their prospective folders. The erotica catalogs are separated in chronological order by decade.
