This collection includes records of finishing times and results, announcements, and press releases from LGBT related athletic events in which Bob Nelson participated, helped organize, and competed including the Gay Games, Front Runners, Boston to Provincetown Ride, Cycling, Gay Jocks, and Swim for Life.
History or Bio
Bob Nelson is a swimmer, cyclist, and runner active in LGBT athletics since the early 1990s. He and Debbie Bell started the Fast and Fabulous cycling club in 1994 as a committee of the Front Runners New York running club. Nelson has helped organize a number of athletic events and organizations.
