Volunteer at the Center: Current Needs

Without Center Volunteers the Center could not provide services for the more than 6,000 New Yorkers who pass through our doors each week to visit the library, attend a concert or lecture, learn about the latest advocacy issues, seek counseling for substance abuse or update their resumes at the Cyber Center.

Over 300 organizations – from social groups to political clubs to 12-step programs – make the Center their home and we need your help to continue to celebrate, empower and transform our community.

Support The Center

Does your employer have a Volunteer Incentives/Matching Gifts Program? Leverage your volunteer hours to help the Center serve the community. Volunteer Incentives is a win-win situation. Many companies will make a donation to a non-profit based on the volunteerism of their employees. The Center has received volunteer incentives dollars from many companies including most recently American Express, Best Buy, Citigroup, John Wiley & Sons, JP Morgan Chase, Verizon and many others.
