During the holidays and all year long, tens of thousands of people visit the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center to celebrate, to heal, to dream and to organize.

Some who come here have yet to vote in their first election. Others cast their first vote for Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Some arrive seeking answers. Some to help. Some are rich. Some not. Some laugh. Others don't. Whatever brings people to the Center, there is one thing they all find when they get here. A home.

You see, the Center is more than a building. It is more than a meeting place. More than its 25-year legacy. It's more than a place where people living with HIV/AIDS speak out. More than a place where women with cancer find hope.

It is all of this and more. The Center is our community's home. It’s this home where we find and express our voice and our vision. The Center is home to every member of New York's LGBT community. It is your home as well.

As we close our 25th Anniversary and embark on a new quarter century of work, will you please consider sharing your good fortunes with the Center?
