This has been on my mind of late, and then I got an e-mail from New York’s Gender Identity Project (if you live in the metro area, check them out..) about upcoming events.  They will be hosting an evening of reflection on the 20th at the Gay Center in Manhattan, from 7pm til 8:30p.  Part of the reflection will include a candlelight vigil and a moment of silence.  I would very much like to do something, and I may see if I can work this out in some way. The LGBT Community Center where I work is the polling place for the local election districts. They put out 16 machines yesterday expecting a big turnout. The voting is held in the first floor hall where the dances also happen hence the disco balls. What's the fun of voting without a little glitter?
